Perhaps more than any other Menorcan resort, it is Cala Galdana that features on the front of summer sun holiday brochures. Why? Well its perfect setting at the heart of a picturesque horseshoe bay certainly helps. Then there's the beautifully clean beaches, with Blue Flag status and fine warm sands so characteristic of the island.

Or it could be the dramatic towering cliffs that hug the beach which makes it so photogenic. And lets not forget the Alexander Gorge nearby, an area of protected natural beauty with limestone walls that reach heights of over 80 metres. Throw in a wide variety of restaurants, a family friendly water park and lots of beach activities and you can see why Cala Galdana earns its title of 'The Queen of the Calas'.
