Nestled in the foothills of Mallorca's Serra de Tramuntana mountain range, a short drive from Pollença and Puerto Pollença, lies Campanet, a small town offering a true taste of Mallorca that most tourists will never be lucky enough to discover. If fresh, fragrant mountain air, breathtaking views of fertile valleys and wonderful scenic walks are what you dream of, then Campanet should be your next holiday destination.

The limestone caves and underground lakes of Campanet are perhaps the town's most famous attraction but the gothic chapel of St Miguel and the weekly Tuesday market are equally as inviting. It's a walkers paradise but also a great place for a peaceful holiday in the countryside, bicycle hire is highly recommended for anyone visiting this beautiful part of the island.

The nightlife in Campanet comprises of a delicious meal and a quiet drink, but later evenings can be enjoyed in Pollença or Puerto Pollença. You can enjoy local tapas and a drink in one of the bars in the towns square.

As with all Villaparade holidays a hire car is included, and it comes in handy for villa holidays to Campanet as this is a stunning corner of Mallorca that is well worth exploring. The scenery - mountain peaks, rugged cliffs, vivid green groves and sleepy rural villages - is truly captivating.
