Es Cana is 25km northeast of Ibiza Town and 4.5km north of Santa Eulaia. Despite its development into a popular tourist resort, Es Cana has lots little of its original character with the tiny harbour remaining the focus of the town. Against a backdrop of pine-clad hills, the horsedhoe-shaped bay of Es Cana has created two small beaches which are fine for families whereas the red flag is sometimes flown at the smaller Cala Nova beach when undercurrents are strong.
