Holiday Villas in Ibiza

The sun soaked island of Ibiza may be famous for its lively nightlife and heavenly weather, however the island has a whole lot more to offer than just this and is the perfect holiday destination for families, couples and groups looking to enjoy the chic-style of the cosmopolitan capital, the beauty of the fantastic beaches and the ease of the laid-back atmosphere. Ibiza has it all...

Here at Villa Parade we are ideally placed to make sure that your Ibiza villa holiday is perfect in every way. Many of our stylishly designed Ibiza villas come with their own private pool, so you can completely relax, unwind and soak up some very welcome rays with all the comforts of being in your own Villa. There will be no trudging back home to get that forgotten sunscreen, when your pool is just a five second walk from your private villa. We also include a totally free, air conditioned, four door hire car for you to use throughout your stay. This means that whilst we have villas all over the island - you're sure to find a destination you love - you will also have the freedom and independence to go and explore all the White Isle has to offer.

Whether you are longing for a relaxing holiday tucked away in the beautiful rolling Mediterranean countryside, a pleasure-seeking stay by one of the island's white beaches, a getaway to the home of great food and high culture or just the chance to recharge your batteries in the Balaeric sunshine, here at Villa Parade we will have a Ibiza holiday villa to make that dream a reality.

Ibiza Town

Ibiza Town, also known as Eivissa to its locals, is a diverse, dynamic and very desirable destination. Although in recent times Ibiza may have become famed for its hedonistic nightlife and party culture, even a short visit to Ibiza Town will prove that there is so much more to an Ibiza villa holiday experience.

The Ibiza capital manages to encapsulate both a medieval charm, with its cobbled streets and imposing gothic architecture, and a totally modern, sharp edge flavour. The ancient walled old town of Dalt Vila, for example, has been declared a UNESCO world heritage site for its outstanding examples of architecture. Dalt Vila stands on the very top of the hill on which Ibiza Town is built, giving it panoramic views across the island and harbour.

This is a perfect place to go to see a touch of ancient grandeur, with white washed buildings rising above cobbled streets and the wide main square. Here you will find fabulous shops selling jewellery, ceramics, linen, clothes, handbags, beachwear and much more. Although it isn't just a shopping trap; the castle complex at the very top of this area includes some awe inspiriting buildings, including the gothic baroque cathedral of Santa Maria D'Eivissa, while the main square also houses the Museum of Contemporary Art.

Ibiza Town's marina is known as the home of the wet set; that fabulous crowd of the young, the beautiful and the super wealthy. Their extravagant yachts are moored year round and are well worth a visit, even if it is just to admire them from afar. You can, however, join boat cruises at the marina that will visit some of the more secluded beaches around the island's coast.

The marina also has some fine restaurants, bars and cafes if you fancy a change from the nightlife options available elsewhere in the town.

Ibiza beaches

Ibiza has some of the most stunning beaches in the whole of the Mediterranean and thanks to the island's compact size, and your free hire car, you will be able to visit them all very easily from your Ibiza holiday villa.

The family friendly beach of Talamanca is an ideal place to give little ones their first taste of the sea, and older ones their first taste of some thrilling watersports. The warm shallow seas are perfect for swimming and snorkelling. If all that sounds a bit tame then why not make use of the beaches windsurf school, pedalos and banana boats?

Ses Salines is a lovely white sand beach, surrounded by gorgeous pine forests. When there is a bit of a breeze this beach can get nice foamy breakers, which are great fun for body boarders. In summer Ses Salines gets a real festival feel and is where the hip and the happening hang out. With beach-bar-cum-restaurant Jockey Club, music and cocktails flow on demand while families and clubbers sit side by side soaking up the laid-back atmosphere.

Playa d'en Bossa is the longest beach on the island at 2.5km and offers every watersport conceivable. Families love it for the beautiful, supervised golden beach and the younger generation love it for the Bora Bora beach party. The excellent views of Ibiza Town and the close-ups of low flying aircraft are worth the visit alone.

Santa Eulalia beach is fringed by beautiful palms, hibiscus and oleanders as well as a thriving seaside town. On the beach you will find lots of attractive stalls selling arts and crafts along the white sand promenade, while the town itself is a playground for Ibiza's most fabulous residents and visitors. Expect lots of exclusive shops, renowned restaurants and galleries.

Cala Jondal on the south-west of the island combines laid-back style with elegant sophistication. Less over-crowded than Ses Salines; the beach-bar restaurant Blue Marlin, the over-sized loungers and the crystal clear waters makes this a favourite for the people in the know.

S'Estanyol is still something of a secret beach, just off the road that leads out of the back of Ibiza Town out to Talamenca. It does, however, now have the rather cool PK2 beach bar, playing hot music and serving cold drinks to its beach dwellers.

Santa Gertrudis

This gorgeous little haven of artistic and picturesque beauty is right at the geographical centre point of the island. If you think this means missing out on all that time sunning yourself at the beach, don't worry. The nearest beach is in fact just over fifteen minutes drive away and thanks to your totally free holiday hire car from Villa Parade, you will be able to pop back and forth to the coast from your villa as much or as little as you like.

Santa Gertrudis is full of little galleries and boutiques selling independent artist's work and the traditional ceramics of the region at reasonable prices. On the whole, Santa Gertrudis is far less orientated towards tourism, which means there are plenty of great local facilities like banks, petrol stations, traditional restaurants and shops. There are also some great street cafes, adorned with the paintings of resident artists, so you can really get into the Spanish al fresco lifestyle.

Jesus Village

Jesus village is extremely close to Ibiza Town, but kept separate and secluded by the protected marshlands of Ses Feixes. This means that while you can enjoy all the amenities and late night entertainments of the capital, you can also relax and get rejuvenated in your stunning Ibiza villa in the peace and quiet of this little village. Jesus village is probably most famous for its beautiful church and its miraculous altar screen. This screen, which is adorned with an image of the virgin and her child dates back to the 16thCentury and has survived numerous invasions of the island.

For the villa holiday maker, Jesus Village is also replete with great cafes, restaurants and shops, some of which stock newspapers and other items from Britain to make you feel even more at home.

San Rafael holiday villas

The peaceful town of San Rafael may seem a million miles away from the bustle of Ibiza Town, but it is in fact just a short drive away. Here at Villa Parade we are lucky enough to be able to offer one fantastic holiday villa in this much loved Ibiza getaway. Nestled on a pine covered hill, San Rafael is a very friendly little town in the heart of the Ibiza agricultural landscape. It therefore has a genuine Mediterranean flavour and easygoing pace of life, perfect for a really relaxing villa holiday.

Thanks to it's setting in the agricultural heart of the island, San Rafael has many fantastic restaurants selling delicious traditional dishes, all made with fine local ingredients. It has also been designated as Ibiza's only 'zona de interes artesenal', or zone of artisans because of its range of pottery and ceramics.

Just outside the town you will find the Hippodrome, which holds regular horse racing, and the stud farm of Los Olivos with over 32 thoroughbred Andalucian horses; perfect for any equestrian fans.

For resort information on; Playa d'en Bossa, Portinatx, San Miguel, San Carlos and Es Cana, please see individual resort from the drop-down list.
