Holiday Villas in Ibiza
The Balearic Island of Ibiza has developed a reputation as a party island in recent decades, but outside the cities of Ibiza Town or San Antonio, you will find a beautiful island with a relaxed and traditional way of life. There are miles of countryside to explore, and plenty of beaches that most visitors to the island don’t even realise are there, and our villas in Ibiza are the perfect base from which to find all this for yourself. What’s more, by venturing into the quieter parts of the island, you will discover an Ibiza that few visitors do, one that isn’t dominated by late nights of music and dancing.
Of course, if you are looking for a loud and lively party atmosphere, Ibiza can perfectly cater for that too.
Ibiza, like all the Balearic Islands, benefits from glorious weather throughout the year. Even in January, temperatures rarely drop below 8°C, but during the summer months they hover around 20-25°C, and routinely break that in July and August. You can also expect bright sunshine broken by few clouds, allowing you to make the most of the Mediterranean’s excellent climate.
With the island previously inhabited by the Phoenicians, Carthage, the Romans and visited by the Ancient Greeks, there’s a lot of history here to be discovered. Because of this, a lot of the island has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, making it protected from the same development that is evident in the cities. This preserves Ibiza’s history and beauty for you to see during a stay in our villas in Ibiza.
If you want to envelop yourself in Ibiza’s music scene, then you have a huge selection to choose from. Ibiza’s reputation for dance music is recognised around the world, and there are plenty of festivals and clubs that feature some of the best DJs, travelling specially to perform in Ibiza. However, you can also find some of the top performers and bands for other music genres putting on live shows, and the Arctic Monkeys, Kasabian and Kaiser Chiefs have all held gigs on the island in the past.
Around the coast, there are plenty of spots where taking a boat ride or trying your hand at some water sports are a great way to spend your holiday. You can get an entirely new perspective from the island out at sea, and spot some of the wildlife that lives around the Mediterranean and its islands.
Depending on when you’re staying in our villas in Ibiza, you might be able to head to one of the local festivals or take advantage of a local market to pick up some exotic gifts for your friends, family or just yourself. Colourful clothes, intricately carved wooden figures and local food are all prepared by the stall owners themselves and made available in wonderful outdoor markets.
With the influx of British emigrants, you can find a huge variety of food and drink across Ibiza. Local food with a British twist, British food with a local twist, or some of the specialities that have been made on the island for centuries. Ensaimada is one popular snack, a sweet pastry ring that can be found all over the island. Flao, a cheese and mint flan is another well-known treat.
With
villas in Ibiza Town,
villas in Santa Gertrudis and
villas in Playa D’En Bossa, as well as plenty of other locations, we can offer you the villa holiday on Ibiza that you really want, regardless of what you’re after.
