Our beautiful holiday villas in the Cyprus village of Latchi overlook a fabulous stretch of sea. Whilst keeping a strong local flavour and easygoing way of life, Latchi also caters perfectly for tourists with a range of great shops selling everything from sun screen to souvenirs to sandals.

For all you beach lovers, there are lots of fabulous sandy beaches in the Latchi area with great clear seas for snorkelling and swimming.

Between Polis and the Baths of Aphrodite, this area is rather more a collection of fish tavernas and tourist shops than a village. A relaxing place to come to for freshly caught fish at a waterside restaurant after a walk in peaceful Akamas or a swim at one of the nearby beaches. There are souvenir shops and banks as well as the eating places, and boat trips along the coast leave regularly from the little harbour.

The resort has swelled in recent years and now includes tourist shops, bars and banking facilities as well as the long established waterside fish tavernas. There is an excellent European Blue Flag Beach of coarse sand or shingle and 'Latchi Watersports' are based here.

At Villa Parade we have several gorgeous holiday villas in the resort of Polis town. This bustling centre in the green and lush countryside of Cyprus has everything you could possibly need for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday.

Within the town itself you will find a very helpful tourist office, welcoming tavernas, great restaurants, a supermarket, banks and lots of great shops. There is also a pharmacy and petrol station for those essentials. Because this is a real working town it has a genuine Cypriot flavour and atmosphere, which we think you'll love. The small coffee shops and restaurants sell real local dishes, while the surrounding farming country means that you will find lots of fabulous local produce to enjoy, from pecans and peaches to olives and oranges.

Legend has it that the goddess of love Aphrodite was born out of the waves at a beach just to the west of Polis Town. And you don't need to be a classical historian to appreciate the stunning views at the site. Aphrodite is also said to have bathed in the clear waters of a natural grotto surrounded by woods in the area we now know as Polis. These days you can go on great walking trips around this area to see the countryside that inspired the legend. Nature lovers will also enjoy a visit to the Akamas Peninsula Nature reserve to spot some local and exotic wildlife.
