Beautiful bay
Wide range of leisure activities in Summer
Stunning natural sheltered bay
Perhaps best viewed form the sea are the picturesque coves that make up this area. The harbour area boasts many fine sea-food and tapas restaurants.
Porto Colom is a natural sheltered bay, very much appreciated by sailors, maintaining a large amount of original buildings, facing the sea, and this lends to an atmosphere of peace and tranquility.
The old part of Portocolom dates back to the past century, and serves as a second residence for the people of Felanitx, a good many expatriates, especially English are now also settling here. In summer the town offers a wide range of leisure activities.
A novelty in Portocolom is the opening of the restaurant "El Cinco" to be found next to the church in one of the most characteristic buildings of the village with a luxurious cuisine, and it's roof garden is without doubt one of the best places to watch the sun set.
