Porto Petro is one of the few coastal enclaves which hasn't sacrificed its charm to the demands of mass tourism. Its port offers good services and an unbeatable refuge for navigators. From Easter onwards live music can be enjoyed once a week in the galeria (Port Gallery) Porto Petro has known how to maintain its dimensions respecting its enchanting surroundings, and we hope it will remain this way.
It is on Mallorca's south-eastern coast, 3 km from Cala d'Or. Porto Petro is a charming fishing village that has retained its original flavour - charming to walk around with a handful of pleasant bars and restaurants. Most activity in Porto Petro is focused on the harbour. The craft centres at Manacor are popular. There are excellent seafood restaurants clustered on the harbour-side, with a handful of other shops, cafes and restaurants nearby. Also Cabo de Satorre is just a stone's throw away, as are other secluded, sandy coves.
