A one-storey stone holiday house in a very pretty and quiet part of the Colonya Valley outside Pollença - down a country lane very close to Pollença's golf course and just a short drive from the town itself. Finca Apostol Nou is a very welcoming house with a lovely pool and garden - the ideal base for a holiday with family or a group of friends. The villa is suitable in parts for wheelchair access and features a gated driveway.
All the rooms in the house are at ground level. The interior design mixes traditional and modern elements - using stone archways and wooden beamed ceilings with white walls, and cool terracotta floors. There's a long lounge and dining room with two comfortable sofas around a stone fireplace, a dining table, satellite tv and a dvd and cd stereo. The spacious kitchen is well designed as a space to work in with lots of storage and counter space, another dining table and appliances including a dishwasher and a microwave. Laundry can be done in the separate casita building.
All the bedrooms are air-conditioned. The main bedroom has lots of storage space in fitted wardrobes, and gorgeous views over the pool to the Puig Maria mountain. It also has an en-suite bathroom with a bath and a shower. There are three more bedrooms (three twins) - all with fitted wardrobes and a simple and uncluttered look. They all have lovely views over the pool, garden and mountains. And they also all have en-suite bathrooms with baths and showers.
Finca Apostol Nou has been designed to make the most of its fantastic countryside location and the gardens and pool area have open views to the Puig Maria mountain. There's lots of space to relax and swim in the pool - which has a splash area for children, a pool-side shower, and a wide stone sun-terrace running around it. There's also shady covered terrace in front of the casita building overlooking the pool - the barbecue and terrace dining area are here too. The gardens have lots of lawn space with fruit trees and Mediterranean flowers.
Finca Apostol Nou is a really easy and welcoming house with great gardens in a fantastic location in the country. It's also still very close to the historic old town of Pollenca and the town's golf course. The bay and sea at Puerto Pollenca are just a 10-minute drive away so you can easily spend the whole day at the beach. The house is also just a couple of minutes' walk from villaparade's house Finca Cal Apostol (id 433) and so large groups of up to 18 people could have a great holiday together at these two houses.
