A sunny and welcoming family villa with gorgeous views of the sea at Latchi. Villa Bay View is a great house surrounded by a Mediterranean garden and pool, within walking distance of Latchi's fishing harbour and the beach.

Inside, the house is cool and spacious with white walls and tiled floors - as well as air-conditioning throughout. All the living rooms are on the ground floor with the main living space on the sea-facing side of the house. The villa is split-level with the bedrooms on the upper level accessed by several stairs. There's a long lounge with windows looking down to the sea, comfortable sofas, television, a dvd/cd stereo and Playstation 2. There's a family dining-kitchen with lots of storage and workspace, appliances including a dishwasher and a microwave, and a dining table and chairs. Double doors lead out onto the barbecue- terrace, overlooking the pool. Laundry can be done in the separate utility room.

There are five sunny bedrooms - a double suite and four twin rooms. The double has a dressing area, doors to the poolside balcony, and an en-suite bathroom. Three of the twins have en-suite shower-bathrooms, two have private balconies, and all have great views either over the pool or inland to vineyards. There's also the bonus of a bathroom with a Jacuzzi bath and a guest wc-bathroom.

The garden is a wonderful space looking over trees and olive groves to the sea. There's lots of room to relax, swim and read, and for children to play. There's a long swimming pool surrounded by sun-terraces and lawns, shaded by palms and trees. There's a barbecue terrace and a hot tub by the pool too as well as a children's play area and table-tennis.

Villa Bay View is a great house for a family holiday near the sea - with lots of space for a larger group of up to 10 people. It's a 35-minute easy daytime walk down into Latchi - with its beach, fishing harbour, cafés and fish restaurants. It's also a short drive from the beautiful and dramatic landscape of the Akamas Peninsula - famous for its rugged coastline and rocky coves and the famous Aphrodite Baths which legend says was the home of the goddess Aphrodite.
