A spacious and relaxing new high-quality villa with views of the sea. Villa Chariklia is in a lovely sunny spot, just inland from the beach and pretty fishing harbour of Latchi.

Inside, it's cool and airy with tiled floors in terracotta and stone, white walls and lots of space. All the rooms are at ground level. A hall leads into an elegant lounge with windows on two sides and double doors out onto the pool-terrace, white sofas, an open fireplace, television and a dvd/cd stereo, and a dining area with windows looking down to the sea. There's a pool table here too. The kitchen is a large square room with loads of storage and workspace and appliances including a dishwasher. A door leads out to another terrace with a barbecue and another eating area.

There are three bedrooms with large windows and great views. There's a fantastic double suite with a seating area, a balcony, an en-suite bathroom with a Jacuzzi and a shower, and a separate sauna. The two twin bedrooms both have balconies overlooking the pool and across to mountains. Opposite the twins is a further bathroom tiled in chic grey and blue with a bath and dark-wood sink unit. There's also a guest wc-bathroom between the living area and the bedrooms.

There's lots of great outside space at the villa. The pool is lovely and long and great for swimming. It's surrounded by a sun-terrace with a hot tub facing the sea, and a sun-swing. The barbecue-terrace is around the side of the house looking to an orchard - there's a table-tennis table here too.

Villa Chariklia is a great villa with lots of space for a really relaxing holiday. It's a 20-minute daytime walk to Latchi - with its beach, harbour, cafés and fish restaurants. And it's also just a short drive from the Akamas Peninsula - an area of outstanding natural beauty, with a rugged coastline, hidden coves, and lots of great walks - and according to legend the ancient home of the goddess Aphrodite.
