In the south of Kefalonia at the bottom of the slopes of Mount Ainos is the bay of Lourdata. On the hillside just above the beach surrounded by Olive Trees is the beautiful Villa Michas. The villa enjoys wonderful views out to sea and across to the neighbouring island of Zakynthos from its many terrace and balcony areas. The villa is built on three levels and split into two separate apartments, so perfect for large groups of friends and families. It is exceptionally spacious and well equipped and tastefully decorated throughout.

The lower ground floor apartment is all on one level and consists of a large open plan living/dining room, and a fully equipped kitchen. There are three good sized bedrooms, one double with an en suite full bathroom, and two twin bedded rooms with a shared full bathroom. Patio doors lead out onto the terrace area which overlooks the pool and has a large table and chairs, perfect for a relaxing breakfast.

The upper apartment is on two levels and reached by a separate entrance up a flight of stairs. It again has an open plan living area with fully equipped kitchen, dining and lounge areas. Also on this level are two ensuite bedrooms, one double and one twin bedded. Patio doors lead off the living areas and the bedrooms onto large balconies. A set of steps lead up to the third bedroom, which is twin bedded with an ensuite shower room. Patio doors lead to a balcony with excellent mountain and sea views.

The outside area of villa has been landscaped with paved and shrub areas, together with a number of trees. There is a large infinity pool with views out to sea and sunbeds and parasols around the pool. A brick built barbeque with table and chairs for al fresco dining completes the area adding the perfect excuse for not leaving the villa.

A short walk from the villa brings you to a choice of restaurants and small supermarkets. A 5 minute drive down the hill is the beachfront resort of Lourdas Beach, a long stretch of sand with tavernas slightly back from the beach. Motorboat hire is available from the beach in high season.

A path down the hillside beneath the villa brings you to Lithero beach. Rarely busy, you will find sunbeds and umbrellas for hire together with a seafood taverna right on the beach. The path is quite steep though so may not be suitable for everyone
