Experience birds and wildlife at the Lagoa de Albufeira

Close to our villas in Albufeira you will find a space that was opened up earlier this year, which gives a glimpse into the local wildlife and in particular the birdlife of the region.

Lagoa de Albufeira is the largest wetland area in the Setúbal peninsula and attracts bird enthusiasts from across Europe and beyond; all interested in what has become one of the most important areas of bird movement in the country.

The area is open on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays and is a fascinating and relaxing way to spend a day whilst on a villa holiday in the Algarve.
