Explore the art of Bonsai in Albufeira

If you are staying in one of our villas in Albufeira this weekend, you will find an extremely interesting exhibition taking place: the IV Bonsai National Congress.

The exhibition will be taking place on Saturday and Sunday the 27^th and 28^th at the Albufeira Multi-Purpose Pavilion and is expected to attract crowds from the across Portugal interested in this artistic and enjoyable hobby.

On hand at the Bonsai exhibition will be the Italian Bonsai artist Salvatore Liporace, giving workshops and demonstrations on the art of Bonsai pruning and shaping. The weekend will be a great chance to view many differing species of Bonsai tree, with trees of all shapes and sizes being put on show for residents and visitors alike to the region.

Admission to the event will be free, with competitions and demonstrations taking place throughout. It’s certainly an event not to be missed whilst on a villa holiday.
