Classic car enthusiasts on holiday in villas in Algarve will be in for a treat this October as the Algarve’s Classic Car Festival returns for 2012.
When thinking of classic car festivals, it is easy to imagine row upon row of pristinely kept cars with owners operating a ‘look but don’t touch’ policy for visitors. At the Algarve’s festival however, we are taken back to the good old days of racing motor cars, and drivers get strapped into their vehicles and speed off around the International Racetrack of Algarve.
The weekend will be full of fun races and chances to not only see the beautiful cars, but also see them in action, the very thing the cars were built for. The Algarve’s Classic Car Festival runs from 19th-21st October and promises to be an exciting event for all.
Tickets range from €5 to €25 for the whole weekend, so head on down to the racetrack in Portimao for a great value, great fun weekend of old-school racing.
