If you are heading off to our villas in Mallorca, in the near future, you will be pleased to know that the island is still in the midst of a heat wave. Just last week, the Balearic Island saw one of the hottest days of summer so far.
During last weekend thermometers close to Manacor (hometown of tennis champion Rafael Nadal) reached 38.9 degrees, causing meteorologists to release information that temperatures could continue to rise up to 40 degrees or more.
You will find plenty to see and do across the island, if you decide to take a break from its wonderful beaches, making it a great destination to enjoy a villa holiday any time of the year.
If you are heading out into the sun, be sure to take the experts advice and drink plenty of water and avoid the hottest part of the day.
