A new report has shown that the Balearic Island of Mallorca has seen its best occupancy rates since back in 2007.
The figures showed that Majorca received a much greater amount of visitors heading for overnight stays to the island; accommodation such as villas and hotels saw an occupancy rate of between 85-95% during June, July and August this year.
According to the report the most popular resorts during the peak summer months included northern destinations closely located to our villas in Can Picafort and villas in Pollensa.
A sure sign of Mallorca’s popularity is the recent news that its airports have seen record numbers pass through its terminals this year, with many predicting this trend to carry on throughout September.
September is still an extremely popular time to visit the Balearic Islands. Whilst quieter than the peak months, its climate continues to remain warm and there are plenty of great deals available.
