New coastal walking trail for the Algarve

The Algarve region in Portugal is renowned for being one of the most beautiful destinations in Europe, if not the world. With its coastal paths, rustic towns and mountain views, it has become a recommended location for those that enjoy plenty of fresh air and walking.

When many walkers think of the Algarve’s walking trails they will immediately think about the popular long distance footpath ‘The Algarve Way’ that runs for approximately 160 miles from the Spanish border to Cabo de São Vicente. There are of course many shorter and less demanding footpaths to enjoy, with one new path having just been opened.

The new walking trail is sure to interest many who enjoy villa holidays in our villas in Algarve as it runs along the breathtakingly rugged western coast of the Algarve, with it ending at Sagres.
