The International European Film Week is set to take place in Mallorca later this month, sure to be one of the most popular events of the year to hit the Spanish island.
Set to take place in Palma from 19-26 October, it stands as a fantastic platform to promote exactly what the area can offer in terms of film locations. Organisers for the event are hoping it can offer a similar sophistication to the Cannes Film Festival and, should it prove a success, Mallorca could well be inline to host the European Awards in 2016.
With a number of famous faces in the film business expected to make an appearance throughout the festival, particularly at the opening and closing parties in Port Adriano in Calvia, it’s a great opportunity to catch a few celebrities should you be staying in any of the villas in Mallorca during the period.
