Portugal 4th most popular holiday destination

According to a property rental website specialising in European holidays, Portugal is the 4^th most popular destination for those looking for a holiday property to stay in.

Portugal was beaten only by France, Italy and Spain, who have the advantage of being able to offer accommodation for ski holidays as well. Portugal may not have ski slopes, but for a wonderfully relaxing holiday in the sun, better places are few and far between.

Although the country may be the fourth most popular destination for those looking for private properties to rent, villas in Portugal are undoubtedly even more popular, and Portugal is certainly one of the leading holiday destinations when it comes to holiday villas.

Villa holidays have the added benefit of being fully furnished to a high standard, without any of the extra worry and caution that comes with staying in someone else’s home. Add Portugal’s fantastic weather, lovely beaches and delicious cuisine and it soon becomes unsurprising that Portugal is one of the top holiday destinations in Europe.
