Portugal ranked as one of the top ten most beautiful countries

One of the largest travel advice websites, U City Guides, has completed a list of the top ten most beautiful countries in the world to visit, with Portugal being included in sixth place.

The travel advice website describes itself as ‘the ultimate urban travel planning guide’ and has been the go to advice website for millions of travellers looking to get the most out of their breaks such as villa holidays across the world.

The country of Portugal featured highly in the website’s travel lists this year with it being featured 8 times with its capital Lisbon being called both a ‘soulful’ and ‘picturesque’ city. Even one of Portugal’s most renowned cafés got a mention on the website: Café Majestic in Porto.  Reviewers called it one of the most attractive cafes in the world and put it at 6th place in their list of the most beautiful cafes in the world.
