The Algarve’s Ardento Festival

This weekend you will find plenty to see and do whilst staying in the Algarve region of Portugal, including the Ardento Festival in the city of Faro.

Visitors to the festival will be able to enjoy plenty of music and entertainment in one of the most scenic and decorative parts of the city: its old town. If world music is your thing, then you certainly shouldn’t miss this festival as it has a whole host of bands and artists performing each night.

Amongst the live music there will be a variety of other events and activities taking place on the 7^th and 8^th of September. Between 6pm and 2am there will be a wonderful market based in the old town, offering visitors a chance to pick up some wonderful antiques, handcrafted goods and plenty of locally produced food and drink.
