The St Augusti Fiesta in Mallorca

This Monday (27^th August) the town of Felantix and its nearby port of Porto Colom will be celebrating the fiesta of St Augusti.

This year the town’s council have organised even more entertainment than before with something guaranteed to keep the whole family entertained.  Visitors to the town will find plenty of music being performed through the day and night from a wide varied selection of performers, including orchestras and musicians from across the Balearics.

One of the more traditional parts of festival is the famous dance of Els Cavallets. The dance is performed by seven children, six of which dance on toy horses around the remaining child.
