Can Xanet de Baix is a farmhouse-style stone house in the beautiful countryside a few miles outside Pollenca and Alcudia. It's in a countryside setting down a long gated driveway and has open views over fields to the bay of Pollenca and the spectacular mountains of the Formentor peninsula.

Across a country lane from the house is the Villaparade Villa Mercader (website id number 171) and so groups of up to sixteen people can stay together in the two houses. Inside, Can Xanet de Baix is a stylish Mallorcan design - with a combination of stone and white-painted walls, wooden beams and terracotta tiles. On the ground floor there's a long, high-ceilinged lounge and dining room. There are lovely views from here through double doors, down to the sea. The kitchen has marble work surfaces and a range of appliances including a dishwasher. Both the kitchen and the lounge have doors out onto a covered terrace which overlooks the pool and gardens. Also on the ground floor there's a twin bedroom and a bathroom with a bath and a shower.
On the first floor there are three more bedrooms - two double rooms and a twin room. All the bedrooms have brand new air-conditioning, and there's lots of storage space in fitted wardrobes. There's a second bathroom here too, again with a bath and a shower. The outside space at the house has been designed to be accessible and private. The terrace is joined to the patio by a ramp, which also leads down to the gardens. And the lawned sunbathing area is sheltered by high hedges.
Can Xanet de Baix is a well-designed family house in a very pretty country setting with some of the best views in this part of the island. And it's just a 5-minute drive from here to all the cafes, restaurants, galleries and shops of Pollenca, the resort of Alcudia, and the beautiful beaches of Puerto Pollenca.
