Villa Las Arecas is a fantastic villa with beautiful enclosed gardens and is only a 20 minute stroll from one of the golden-sand beaches, and the fabulous Marina Rubicon Harbour of Playa Blanca.
This lovely holday home has plenty of amenities including heated pool throughout the Winter - November-April -The pool can be heated from May - October for a supplement of £215.
This spacious villa which is situated in an up-market peaceful area is surrounded by private terraces with exotic plants and large lawns. For your convenience there is a parking area also and the total area is on a plot of 700 square metres. This lovely villa is composed of two floors; the first floor leading onto the gardens and the swimming pool and the lower ground floor. These are conveniently linked together by internal and external staircases. On the ground floor (first floor), there are 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The master bedroom has en-suite luxury bathroom with a Jacuzzi bath-tub as well as a fantastic dressing-room. The twin bedroom here on this level has fitted wardrobes with a safety deposit box built in.
The kitchen has plenty of modern amenities one would expect and is equipped with microwave, oven toaster, coffee maker, ceramic cooker, dishwasher, kettle and double refrigerator. There is also a separate laundry area. A warm open-plan lounge/living room has beautiful views and is also furnished with high quality furniture, air conditioning, Plasma TV with satellite channels, DVD player and high quality dining furniture and seating. The downstairs area comprises of two bedrooms with two twin rooms with fitted wardrobes. There is one full bathroom on this level and also a second spacious living room with a plasma television with DVD Player.
Back outside, for your enjoyment, in the manicured gardens is the heated swimming pool with beautiful views, fully equipped of single sun beds where you can relax and sunbathe until dusk. Also there is a big terrace table with barbeque for al-fresco dining under the porch. A table tennis table will keep will keep you entertained if you are able to drag yourself away from the sun beds.
Holidays in Playa Blanca are great for both couples and families and its easy to see why tucked on Lanzarote’s sun drenched southwest tip, this quiet resort is home to a number of top beaches. The white sandy sweep in the heart of town - from which Playa Blanca gets its name – is the proud owner of a coveted Blue Flag, as is neighbouring Playa Dorada beach. A little further afield you’ve got the dreamy Papagavo sands where you can get an all over tan.
On the sunbathing front, this place gets a big thumbs up. But what else can you expect on holidays to Playa Blanca? Well for starters you can hop on a ferry over to Fuerteventura from here and Lanzarote’s famous Timanfaya National Park isn’t far away either. When it comes to eating out, you can take your pick from the many waterside cafes and restaurants that line Playa Blanca’s promenade. If you like seafood, you’ll be in your element. Try pan fried ‘Sama’ fish with salted potatoes called ‘Papas Arugadas’ – its simply delicious. As this resort has a traditional, relaxed air about it, nightlife in Playa Blanca is nice and low key. Cue long al fresco dinners beneath the stars. Balmy evening sipping cocktails and moonlit strolls along the seafront. Sure there are a handful of disco bars, bit generally speaking, this place is wonderfully relaxed.
