A recently renovated, spacious and relaxing one-storey villa set in large private grounds in Branqueira - a countryside village in Albufeira. It's in a peaceful location with views of the surrounding countryside, yet it's only a short drive to Albufeira and the nearest beach, plus there's a small shop and a couple of bars and restaurants in the village.

A recently renovated, spacious and relaxing one-storey villa set in large private grounds in Branqueira, close to Albufeira. It's in a peaceful location with views of the surrounding countryside, yet it's only a short drive to Albufeira and the nearest beach, plus there's a small shop and a couple of bars and restaurants in the village. Branqueira is a quiet village in the countryside of Albufeira, Villa Monte Velho is set in beautiful well kept gardens down a country lane, 800m from the nearest restaurant and shop.
The villa's design is typically Portuguese, and all the accommodation is on one level. There's a large open-plan living-dining room with dining table and chairs, two comfortable sofas in front of a traditional open fireplace, an LCD TV and a DVD player. This spacious room is colourfully decorated and there's lots of natural light thanks to large windows and patio doors which lead onto the covered dining terrace. The practical kitchen has modern appliances, including a dishwasher, and has easy access to the dining room and terrace.
All three bedrooms are light and spacious with colourful modern decor - there are two twin bedroom which share a bathroom with a bath and a shower, and a double room which has an an-suite bathroom which also has a bath and a shower. One of the twin bedrooms also has patio doors leading to the terrace and garden.
The villa sits in very large, well kept gardens. The gated entrance leads to a spacious parking area and covered car port, which houses the table-tennis table to offer some shade to the players! The large lawn is dotted with pine trees and runs down the side of the house to the adjoining pool terrace where there's the large pool with Roman steps, a poolside shower and a brick barbecue. There's also a covered dining terrace overlooking the pool and surrounding countryside, steps from the terrace lead to a rooftop terrace.
Villa Monte Velho is the perfect villa for a summer holiday with family and friends in peaceful and pretty surroundings whilst still being close to the resort and beach. With large enclosed gardens and all the accommodation being on one level, it's ideal for families with young children, or guests with walking difficulties.
