Villa Caretta is a modern villa located on the outskirts of one of the more popular resorts on the island. It is ideally placed for guests looking for relaxation in a peaceful environment but within easy walking distance of all facilities, and the stunning sandy beach.
The air conditioned villa is built over two floors, the ground floor being mainly open plan with a fully equipped modern kitchen with all modern conveniences. There is a dining table and chairs and the lounge area has comfortable sofas and Greek satellite TV. The sofa converts into a double bed giving you full flexibility.
Also on this level is a utility room with washing machine and Ironing board and Iron and a separate full bathroom. Patio doors lead from the living area onto the veranda.
On the first floor are the bedrooms, one double and one twin with a full separate bathroom. Doors lead off the bedrooms onto a large balcony which overlooks the pool.
The veranda has another dining table and chairs and there is a BBQ which makes for the perfect summer evening. The private swimming pool is ideal for cooling off after a spot of sunbathing and relaxing on the comfortable sunloungers.
There is also a private, fenced parking area and for those guests wanted to keep up to date with world events or simply check their emails the villa has free WiFi. For our more energetic guests there is a shared basket ball court.
The resort of Laganas is only 300m away and has a good selection of restaurants, gift shops and bars to choose from, together with the long sandy beach which is home to the protected Loggerhead Turtle, named Caretta Caretta.
There are many resorts closeby including Kalamaki and Tsilivi, whose beach actually joins up with Laganas Beach, and are both more low key resorts. Zakynthos Town, the island's capital is only 5km/7-minutes drive away and offers something for everyone with its museums, churches, shops, picturesque squares and café bars together with the Venetian Castle on the hillside above.
