Holiday villas in Portugal

A villa holiday in Portugal is one of the most relaxing ways to unwind and soak up the sun. What's more, when you book a Villa Parade Portugal villa you can be assured that the whole holiday will run like clockwork. We can book your flights, organise your holiday insurance, draw you up a suggested itinerary. Villa Parade have a friendly team of representatives available at your resort to help out with any last minute arrangements.

All of our villas in Portugal are air conditioned and come with a completely free four door, air conditioned hire car, giving you the freedom to explore the island and bop about as easily as you please for the duration of your holiday.

Portugal is the most westerly country in Europe and can boast some of the most stunning landscape in the whole continent. The Algarve region, in which you'll find almost all of our splendid holiday villas in Portugal, is bordered by mountains to the east and some absolutely breathtaking coastline to the west. It enjoys, on average, 3000 hours of sunshine a year, making it not only a gloriously warm place to lie back and relax but also a lush a fertile region full of fruit orchards and rolling green hills.

Portugal is a great place to enjoy some wet and wild watersports like scuba diving, snorkelling and wind surfing. So, all you water babies (and fellow sun worshipers), why not make a real holiday of it and hit the beach? Another great Portuguese pastime is deep sea fishing, and whether you want to haul in your own catch or simply enjoy the fruits of someone else's labour in one of the fabulous fish restaurant you are sure to satiate your desire during a holiday in one of our Portugal villas.

Albufeira Holiday Resort

Albufeira is the most popular resort in the whole of the Algarve and after just a brief look at the sun drenched, rugged coastline of sandy coves you can see why. There are two main parts to the resort. The first is the marina, which is the ideal place to pick up some fresh locally caught fish and enjoy a walk along the promenade to look at all the proud yachts and fine sailing boats that moor up there throughout the year. The second is the old town of Albufeira and it is in this area that you will find the majority of our gorgeous Portugal villas. The quaint narrow streets, lined with traditional white washed fisherman's cottages give this town a quintessentially European feel; the perfect place to relax into a simpler, more tranquil way of life.

The stunning coastline of the Algarve, including Albufeira beach, is the key reason for this resort's extraordinary appeal with visitors. With over 20 miles of rugged, ochre coloured cliffs overlooking more than twenty gorgeous little sandy coves and the sparkling blue Mediterranean Sea leading off to the horizon, it is the sort of idyllic landscape most of us only dream about. If you book a holiday villa in Portugal with Villa Parade, however, this could be the view out of your very window. Yes, a villa in Albufeira, or one of our many other beach-side villas, will be the perfect place from which to explore the whole of the Algarve coast. You can do this either by journeying along the fabulous cliff top paths or from within the comfort of your air conditioned hire car. Many of these beaches have been awarded the European blue flag for exceptional quality and cleanliness.

Thanks to its lush, warm climate the Algarve is absolutely packed with orchards and farms growing delicious local produce. Now, while the coast of this region is inarguably sensational, a trip inland will reveal a whole other side to your holiday destination, with sun baked fields full of olives, fig trees and fragrant orange groves.

With ingredients like this, it is no wonder that the restaurants of this region are famed for their fantastic dishes, like cataplana a dish of steamed shell fish, or caldeiradathe delicious fish stew, or the fantastic, freshly made sweets and pastries.

As well as the wealth of watersports available in this region there is also plenty of activities to keep you busy. Children and teenagers will love the Zoo Marine centre near our villas in Gale beach, the English language cinema in Guia, the Aqua Land waterpark a
